As digital technology continues to play an increasingly significant role in education, it is important to consider its impact on social justice in Africa. From the digital divide and its effects on marginalized communities to the use of digital technologies for social activism and advocacy, this colloquium aims to explore the impact of digital technologies on the social justice landscape in Africa. Through presentations, discussions and two workshops, we aim to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Africa in the digital age and to identify ways in which we can work towards greater social justice in African digital contexts. The workshops will be offered on 20 April and the presentations with discussion will happen on 21 April 2023.
