​​The Stellenbosch University Museum invites you to attend the opening of an exhibition entitled Dear Mr. Mandela, Dear Mrs. Parks: Children's Letters, Global Lessons.

Hundreds of children around the world wrote letters to two individuals—Nelson Mandela of South Africa and Rosa Parks of the United States—who were internationally known for their work in the field of human rights. This exhibition was inspired by those letters.

The exhibition aims to help visitors, young and old, from South Africa, the United States, and around the world to become more aware of the contributions of these two major human rights activists. The exhibition aims to encourage young people to use their words and talents to address current environmental and human rights issues.

This exhibition will be opened on 7 March 2023 by means of a discussion and walkabout by the partners that collaborated on the exhibition.

IMyuziyam yeYunivesithi yaseStellenbosch iya kumema ukuba uzimase ukuvulwa komboniso onesihloko esithi, Mnumzana Mandela obekekileyo, Nkosikazi Parks obekekileyo: Iileta zaBantwana, iZifundo zeHlabathi.

Abantwana abangamakhulu kwihlabathi lonke babhalela abantu ababini iileta — uNelson Mandela waseMzantsi Afrika noRosa Parks waseMelika — ababe saziwa kumazwe ngamazwe ngomsebenzi wabo kwinkalo yamalungelo oluntu. Lo mboniso wakhuthazwa zezo leta.

Lo mboniso ujonge ukunceda iindwendwe, abatsha nabadala, abasuka eMzantsi Afrika, eMelika kunye nehlabathi jikelele ukuba babe nolwazi ngakumbi ngegalelo lesi sibini esalwela amalungelo oluntu. Lo mboniso ufuna ukukhuthaza abantu abatsha ukuba basebenzise amazwi neetalente zabo ukujongana nemeko yangoku yemiba yokusingqongileyo kunye namalungelo oluntu.

Lo mboniso uya kuvulwa ngomhla wesi7 kuMatshi ngowama2023 ngengxoxo nokujikeleziswa ngamahlakani  athe asebenzisana kulo mboniso.
