​Funded by VLIR-UOS, the policy workshop seeks to foster the dialogue between academics, policy analysts and international organisations regarding the emerging thinking and approaches to Improving Industrial Policy Intervention. 

The first two days of the workshop consist of keynote addresses from leading experts, presentations by policy practitioners on best practices and their experience with industrial policy, and presentations by academics regarding emerging analytical approaches. The third day consists of in-depth parallel workshops that will equip participants to utilise emerging tools and approaches for industrial policy analyses.

The workshop will be in a hybrid format at STIAS in Stellenbosch, with in-person and online content available in English and French.
