Prof Jonathan Jansen, Distinguished Professor in Education Policy Studies at the Faculty of Education, was selected as a finalist for the Lifetime Award of the annual National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF)/South32 Awards 2022/2023. 

The NSTF Awards honour and celebrate outstanding contributions to science, engineering, and technology (SET) and innovation. The NSTF Awards is the most prestigious public SET and innovation awards in South Africa. Winners and finalists receive high-profile recognition on various media platforms. The Lifetime Award recognises and celebrates an outstanding contribution by an individual over a period of 15 years or more.

The NSTF gala dinners will take place on Thursday 13 July 2023 in Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively. The event will be streamed on the NSTF Youtube Channel from both venues.
