​Career development is based on two pillars – the first represents your knowledge about yourself, and the second your knowledge about the world of work. The annual Graduate Recruitment Programme provides students with the opportunity to actively develop these two pillars and also exibit how they have grown in this regard.

The Unit for Graduand Career Services of the Centre for Student Counselling and Development (CSCD) organises the Graduate Recruitment Programme annually. No Matie can afford to miss this programme.

It is an opportunity for all Maties to market their talents and skills. It is also the ideal opportunity to build networks with potential employers. Many employers will visit our campus in the coming two months. Their aim is to showcase their companies to students, and inform final year students of their available job opportunities. The challenge for every Matie is to know their skills and talents and to be able to convey these in a clear and concise manner through their CV and in an interview. Students are encouraged to start doing research about the companies and the positions that they would like to apply for, and practise interviewing skills.

The Unit for Graduand Career Services, CSCD organises the following Career Fairs for companies to exhibit their career opportunities, recruit students for employment and to offer internships and bursaries:
