Additional facilities have been made available as study centres during the exam period, to also make provision for possible load shedding. The University management has appealed to students to be extra vigilant when they walk to and from study centres in the evening. Although exams are no longer written in the evening, it is darker much earlier and load shedding pose additional risks. Make use of the shuttle service (you need to show your student card) and read the safety tips at www.sun.ac.za/safety. Remember to carry a torch or head lamp with you at all times.

Prof Wim de Villiers and members of his management team wish all students the best for the mid-year exams.
